Pier Luca Demajo has been appointed Chairman and Non-Executive Director of Hili Properties plc, succeeding Geoffrey Camilleri who resigned his post of Acting Chairman.

Hili Properties said in a company announcement that Mr Demajo beings many years of commercial experience and insight to the chairmanship of the company. Throughout his career he founded and managed a number of companies operating in diverse sectors in Malta, including technology, manufacturing, tourism, distribution, contracting and financial services.

Mr. Demajo served as Chief Executive Officer of the M. Demajo Group between 2008 and 2019 and is now a Group Director. He is also the Honorary Consul of Canada.

Hili Properties said his term of office started on 1st September and pointed out that Mr Camilleri remains a Director of the company.
