Gutenberg Press Ltd joins a number of local manufacturing companies assisting the local fight against COVID-19 after announcing it has changed one of its production lines to produce face-visors.

The visors are intended to act as a shield and prevent the spread of the virus.

“In these unprecedented times as part of our commitment to support the local health authorities, Gutenberg Press Ltd has made changes to its normal manufacturing process and is now die-cutting important and vital face visor used to contain the spread of COVID-19.”

The change in production line was introduced with immediate effect, with the company praising its team for being flexible with new materials.

“Such full-face shields, branded as 2KR Visor, protect all dedicated people at their respective workplaces to ensure that the country can still function and service the essential requirements needed on a daily basis. By using these visors, the general public is also limiting the spread of COVID-19.”

The visors are designed, produced and converted by Maltese manufacturing joint venture made-up of Kengineering (an off-shoot of Tek-Moulds Ltd), Rapco Ltd & Thermoplastics Ltd, and who sought the professional services of Gutenberg Press, who have also placed all their energy in contributing to this important product.
