Hans & Gretel, a well-known global sweet and ice cream brand, is set to open in Malta in the near future.

New social media pages have already been created, with the Facebook page stating it will be based in Triq iż-Żejtun, Marsaxlokk.

Hans & Gretel was founded in Athens in 2017 and has since spread to several countries across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

It is perhaps best known for its store in the heart of Camden Market.

Besides the sweets themselves, Hans & Gretel also places a lot of emphasis on the magical-themed decoration of its stores, designed to resemble the candy house Hansel and Gretel stumbled upon in the famous fairytale.
