The popular Gozitan pizzeria, Maxokk Bakery, has turned culinary heads for its famous traditional ftiras and pizzas.

On Sunday, the bakery announced on Facebook that it will be featured in Canal+ in Poland, “bringing [the] beloved Gozitan cuisine to a wider audience.” Canal+ is a Polish channel that broadcasts cinema, sport, series, documentaries, entertainment, youth and discovery programmes.

“Renowned Polish chef and culinary journalist Tomasz Jakubiak embarked on a captivating journey to uncover the secrets behind traditional Gozitan ftiras and pizzas made from scratch at our bakery,” Maxokk explained excitedly.

Maxokk recounted Mr Jabukiak’s visit and described it as an exploration of taste and tradition, blending Polish and Maltese culinary expertise.

“The heart of Maxokk Bakery was abuzz with excitement as Tomasz delved into our age-old techniques and witnessed the magic that happens within our oven,” the bakery said.
