Fenlex Corporate Services Limited on Wednesday welcomed three new Directors its Board- Claire Scicluna, Adrian Mercieca and Josef Pace.

In an announcement, Fenlex shared that all three have been part of the financial services firm’s management team for a number of years.

“Their promotion to Directors is in line with the company’s vision and commitment to prepare the organisation for further growth and development , to recognise individual performance as well as strengthen its service provision and governance by adding new blood that is experienced and qualified.”

Malta-based Fenlex, a professional corporate service provider, has been active in servicing local and international, corporate and private clients, since the 1980s. It is very closely associated with Fenech & Fenech Advocates, one of Malta’s largest and longest established law firms, founded in 1891.

Claire Scicluna

Claire graduated from the University of Malta with a Bachelors of Commerce with Accounts and Management as the main areas of study and later successfully completed a post-graduate course with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA). Following graduation, in January 2006 she joined Fenlex were she started gaining valuable experience as part of the corporate services team, later moving on to become head of the same department.

After a couple of years, she joined the operations team of the firm to become head of operations and business development working alongside the CEO, while still administering her portfolio of clients. Over the years she continued to gain experience through her different roles within the company and today Claire forms part of the management team of Fenlex, apart from which role, she also acts as company secretary for a portfolio of international client companies across a number of industries and also sits on a few boards. She is also a member of the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners.

Adrian Mercieca

Adrian joined Fenlex in 2008 and is a Director and Head of the Corporate and Trust Department, which services a diverse portfolio of international and local clients. He obtained a Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership, a Certificate in Banking (Cert. C.I.B) by the Chartered Institute of Bankers (U.K.) and has also a Certificate in Trust Law and Management. Adrian, is also currently reading for a Master in Business Administration. He sits on various boards in Malta as Director and is a Company Secretary for a number Maltese companies. Adrian is a member of the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners and in his free time loves photography, cycling and spending time with family and friends.

Josef Pace

Josef, an ACCA graduate, certified public accountant and holder of a practising certificate in auditing, is the person heading the Fenlex Accounting team. He is responsible for the smooth running of the department, implementation of policies and procedures, as well as co-ordinating the services provided to our various clients. Before joining Fenlex, Josef held various positions with a Big Four firm in Malta, including Audit Manager, Accounting Manager and Chief Financial Officer. As from 1 January 2018, Josef has also been occupying the position of Financial Controller of Fenlex Group and its affiliated entities. He was promoted to Director in January 2022. When not dealing with clients and numbers, Josef is most likely practising for marathons or spending time with his wife and three children.
