Fenech & Fenech Marine Services Ltd on Monday shared that it assisted in the reflagging of a series of four liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier vessels to Malta's flag.

The ship registration service provider, which is also a leading branch of Fenech & Fenech Advocates, stated that the 174,000-cubic metre new build vessels do not only contribute to the Malta flag when it comes to tonnage, but are also a “clear reflection of clients’ confidence in the flag’s technical capabilities with respect to such sophisticated vessels”.

“The Ship Finance team within Fenech & Fenech Advocates is proud to have also assisted with the financing aspect of this transaction,” it added.

It also said that it “looks forward” to continue to support owners and managers with “all their Malta flag-related requirements”.

With a history tracing back to 1891, Fenech & Fenech Advocates is one of the oldest law firms in Malta, and has since evolved into a full-service firm which is now a leader in various areas including shipping and maritime law, international trade, tax, financial services and technology, media and telecommunications law.
