For the occasion of International Beer Day on 5th August, Farsons Group’s alcohol-free Cisk 0.0 beer was launched in India, and will now be available throughout the country’s capital and nearby Jalandhar.

The soft launch event was organised at Panchshila Club in New Delhi. Attending the event on behalf of Farsons were Executive Director for Operations and Business Development, Michael Farrugia, and the Group’s Head of International Business Development Stephen Sultana.

The move will put the iconic Maltese Cisk brand in the reach of the region’s 20 million or so inhabitants.

Imported to India by A&Z Exports International, the launch of the non-alcoholic beverage in a country with a strong Muslim minority may in time be seen as a coup by the Maltese company.

Farsons Group CEO Norman Aquilina thanked J. K. Tandon and Sahil Tandon, A&Z Group’s Chairman and CEO, respectively, and Reuben Gauci, Malta’s High Commissioner to India, for their ongoing support.
