With a spotlight on the start-up journey from ideation to incorporation, the next episode of WhosWho.mt’s The Boardroom invites senior members of staff from the highly regarded audit, tax and consultancy firm RSM Malta.

Airing live on WhosWho.mt’s Facebook page this Tuesday 28th June at 3.30pm, business writer and The Boardroom presenter Jo Caruana will lead a discussion with RSM Malta’s Vladimiro Comodini – Partner, Karen Spiteri Bailey – Partner and Fabianne Ruggier – Director, mainly about the firm’s backing of start-ups, and what a typical journey for such enterprises looks like.

The discussion will also delve into recent challenges being faced by the global economy, and what pitfalls new entrepreneurs have to face as they embark on their entrepreneurship journey.

Vladimiro Comodini is the Partner leading the NextGen Advisory. Vladimiro has over 30 years’ experience in various areas starting from Audit, Outsourcing and for the past 15 years in Advisory.  Vladimiro has extensive experience, both with local and international clients, in multiple industries. He is specialised in remote gaming, compliance and transaction support including mergers & acquisitions and restructuring.

Karen Spiteri Bailey is the Partner heading back-office services, VAT services and Payroll. In January 2002 Karen set up her own firm Spiteri Bailey & Co which eventually merged with RSM on the 1st of January 2016. She has considerable experience in dealing with Value Added Tax and Taxation matters and in recent years continued to focus on Value Added Tax as an integral part of her responsibilities within the firm.

Fabianne Ruggier is a Director within the firm’s NextGen Advisory team. Fabianne has over eighteen years of professional experience. Earlier in her career she spear-headed national policy and public-private alliances in the public sector, to then join a private multi-national and introduced global programmes in Malta. Fabianne works at the strategic level with clients implementing business transformation. She heads a multi-disciplinary team that provide change management services to clients, bringing together business, digital, data and people expertise.
