Delta Air Lines has selected Aviaserve Ltd as its ground handling services partner at Malta International Airport, as the US carrier prepares to operate direct flights between Malta and New York this summer.

The agreement will see Aviaserve, which forms part of the aviation division of KDM Group, provide a range of services supporting Delta’s operations at the airport. These include passenger handling, ramp handling and aircraft cabin cleaning.

The partnership comes as Delta plans to operate three weekly flights between Malta and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport during the summer season, strengthening air connectivity between Malta and the United States.

KDM Group said the appointment represents an important milestone for its aviation arm and reflects Aviaserve’s operational capabilities at one of the Mediterranean’s key aviation hubs.

In a statement, the group welcomed the collaboration, noting that Aviaserve’s selection highlights the company’s track record in operational excellence, safety compliance and service reliability.

KDM Group also welcomed Delta Air Lines as a new client partner, as preparations continue for the airline’s Malta operations in the months ahead.
