Decathlon Malta is set to close its Smart City outlet on 1st March, with plans to reopen in a new location in St George’s Bay, St Julian’s.
The sporting goods retailer announced that the move marks “a new chapter” for the brand locally, as it shifts its Smart City operations to what it described as a more vibrant setting.
Addressing its Smart City customers, the company thanked them for their loyalty over the years, stating: “Thank you for being the foundation of our success. Your satisfaction has been our greatest reward, and we’re moving to stay even closer to the heart of the Maltese sporting community!”
The Smart City outlet which is located at the Shoreline Mall will officially close on 1st March. Details about the opening date of the new St Julian’s store are yet to be announced, with the company encouraging customers to “stay tuned” for further updates.
During the transition period, Decathlon confirmed that its Qormi store will remain fully operational, alongside its online shop, ensuring uninterrupted service for customers across Malta.
