Preparations are well underway for the first edition of Ctrl+Esc Malta 2025, set to take place at the Astrales Grand Hall, Qawra, on 23rd and 24th October.

A stellar line-up of independent experts and speakers has been secured, bringing some of the world’s leading voices from the world of IT. They will share their expertise through inspiring presentations as well as bespoke one-on-one sessions.

Ctrl+Esc Malta 2025 is a premier two-day international conference designed to empower IT professionals in security, on-prem, hybrid and cloud infrastructure, networking and end-user computing with the latest insights and solutions from leading IT players including Microsoft, Amazon and Google.

“We are thrilled to have secured speakers from Microsoft, DataCore, Panzura, Cellebrite, Qnap and the University of Malta, who will join an impressive line-up of 6 international experts.

"Experts are independent IT professionals, whose day-to-day job is the implementation of determinate technologies they would specialise in, writing blogs and providing practical knowledge. Amazon Web Services calls these experts ‘AWS Heroes’. We are honoured to announce that Ctrl+Esc Malta 2025 will feature two such AWS Heroes.

"Additionally, the conference shall also include addresses by two Microsoft MPSs, two Google experts and one NVIDIA NEPA (out of just 32 such experts from around the world),” says Philip B. Cortis, organiser of the conference.

“Having attended several similar community events around the world for the past 20 years, I obtained the nickname ‘the Maltese Guy’, since I would be the only Maltese person attending. Soon I sought to develop an event of the same level in Malta, in order to empower Malta-based businesses to learn from the very best about the latest opportunities and tools available on the IT market.”

“We are pleased that for these two days of Ctrl+Esc Malta 2025 we have secured this impressive line-up of experts and speakers from around the globe, representing various technologies and vendors, all under one roof. This is an unprecedented milestone for Malta. Apart from delivering their keynote speeches, the experts and speakers will also be offering personal sessions for IT professionals who may wish to learn more, for a deeper understanding of their specific topic,” Philip adds.

Thanks to its various sponsors, Ctrl+Esc Malta 2025 tickets have been left deliberately competitive, within the range of €50 to €250, for two full days including networking lunches, in a bid to make the conference accessible for everyone. Attendees will also have the unique opportunity to book one-on-one consultancy sessions with the world class experts to talk with them about specific challenges or projects they plan to implement in 2026. Networking is an inherent part of the event.
