Nationalist MP Darren Carabott has announced his departure from Valletta Legal, the law firm he has worked with for around seven years – first as an Associate and later as a Senior Associate.
“After almost seven years with Valletta Legal, I am closing an important chapter of my professional journey,” Dr Carabott said.
“It’s a chapter I will always look back on with gratitude. It’s where I met my best friend, whom I am proud to call my wife today; where I had the privilege of learning from an exceptional mentor – whose sudden and unexpected passing is still deeply felt – and where I was given the space to grow, both professionally and personally, through every challenge along the way.”
“I am truly thankful for the opportunities I was given, and for the colleagues and clients who made these years as meaningful as they were.”
“As I move forward, I do so with a deep appreciation for the past and a clear sense of purpose for what lies ahead.”
Dr Carabott has served in Parliament since 2022. Although he didn’t announce his next career move, he has confirmed he intends to contest the next general election and recently issued a public call for volunteers to join his campaign.
He is currently the Opposition's Shadow Home Affairs Minister and chairs the Public Accounts Committee in Parliament.
