GO plc subsidiary Cablenet Communications Sytems plc on Wednesday appointed Kelvin Camenzuli as Director.
Cablenet is a telecommunications provider that is based in Nicosia, Cyprus. The company offers broadband, fixed telephony and television services through its wholly-owned cable infrastructure.
Ing Camenzuli, an engineer by profession, previously held various Chief Technology Officer (CTO) roles, including CTO of GO, where he spearheaded the company’s network transformation programme including the launch of GO’s fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) rollout programme as well as the launch of 4G.
Subsequently Ing Camenzuli occupied the post of CTO at MeDirect banking group, where he organised the company’s digital transformation programme and prepared the group’s technology function and IT governance for direct European Central Bank supervision.
Ing Camenzuli has a Bachelors’ Degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Malta.
Ing Camenzuli will be replacing Paul Testaferrata Moroni Viani, who is relinquishing his post of Director of the company with immediate effect. The Board of Directors at Cablenet thanked Mr Testaferrata Moroni Viani for his loyal service.
