The founders of Birkirkara restaurant Village Fork announced they are stepping away from the business.

Village Fork was set up by Karl Saliba and Kyle Fenech in 2023, close to the St Helen’s Basilica, and focused on Mediterranean cuisine.

They informed their customers today that they have made the tough decision to step down from the business due to personal and health reasons.

“This was not an easy choice, but one made with a heavy heart and deep gratitude for all the support received.”

“The restaurant has always been more than just a place to eat; it has been a place where people come together, celebrate, and create lasting memories.”

“We are incredibly grateful for the support, memories, and friendships that have been built over the years.”

“We sincerely thank each and every one of you for being part of our journey.”

There was no immediate announcement as to whether the restaurant has changed hands and what its future will be.
