Ballut Farm has sadly announced the passing of Emmanuel Zarb, a beloved grandfather and founder of the business.

“A brave man with a successful business career and so loved by all his family and friends,” the family said in the announcement.

Ballut Farm, based in Mġarr, is a leading provider of farm-fresh eggs in Malta.

On Monday (today), the office will close from 12pm onwards, with the funeral taking place at Mġarr Parish Church at 3:30pm.

After establishing the business, Mr Zarb passed on the reins to his daughter Mary Zarb who oversaw the growth of the business. Eventually, Mary passed the business to her husband Samuel and her children Mark, Kylie and Clive.
