APS Bank has announced the temporary closure of its Qormi and Floriana branches as from today.
ATMs within both branches and the deposit machine located at Floriana will remain available.
It is the latest bank to temporarily shut down a number of its branches as banks try to limit the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus to its workforce and customers.
It’s branches in Attard, Mosta, Paula, Rabat, Sliema, Swatar, Valletta, Gozo and Zejtun will remain open under reduced hours: Monday-Friday from 9am till 1pm, and Saturday 9am-12pm.
It has also arranged a dedicated time slot for customers aged 60 and over, where they will be given priority between 9 and 10am from Monday to Friday.
Children under the age of 16 will not be permitted to enter APS branches until further notice.
Lastly, its contact centre will continue operating between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays).
