APS Bank representatives participated in several industry events during May and June, contributing to discussions on digital innovation, financial stability and personal financial planning.

At the Tech Law Seminar 2026, the bank's Head of Development and Innovation, Ronald Psaila, joined a panel on the role of European regulation in driving innovation across financial services. He discussed developments in digital identity, customer onboarding and fraud prevention, as well as the challenges associated with upcoming regulatory requirements, including the Payment Services Regulation.

The bank also took part in the Central Bank of Malta Forum for Financial Stability 2026, where Chief Risk Officer Giovanni Bartolotta contributed to a discussion on emerging risks linked to digitalisation, including third-party risk and EU technology sovereignty.

Meanwhile, Corporate Schemes Manager Mark Lamb addressed the final Investment Masterclass of the year, hosted by Patrick Debattista. His presentation focused on the role of pensions in long-term financial planning, highlighting their tax advantages and encouraging greater retirement planning.
