Peter Roth, Regional Vice-President at Emirati hotel chain Jumeirah, has taken on a new role with Maltese-owned hospitality group Corinthia Hotels.

Mr Roth has been appointed President of Hotel Operations, a newly created role that involves overseeing the operational performance of Corinthia’s existing portfolio while leading operational readiness for the Group’s upcoming openings in Italy, Doha, Riyadh, Dubai, and the Maldives.

He will be based at the company’s London headquarters and will report directly to Simon Naudi, Group CEO and Managing Director of the Corinthia Group.

Mr Roth has over three decades of international luxury hospitality leadership across Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East.

Prior to his top Jumeirah position, he spent 15 years with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, culminating in his appointment as Area Vice President for multi-brand assets across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Philadelphia.

“Peter brings a wealth of operational expertise that will directly strengthen our day-to-day hotel performance,” Mr Naudi said.

“His main focus will be on operations, service standards, and profitability across our existing Corinthia hotels. We are delighted to welcome such an experienced hotelier into the Corinthia family.”
