Communications specialist Angie Balzan has been appointed Director of Guest Experience at hospitality and development company Iniala Harbour House and Residences. While she shared the news on Thursday, she started her new job last month.

“We will continue to offer curated concierge and lifestyle services to all our in-house guests and members of Bureau Iniala,” she said.

Apart from her new role, Ms Balzan is also Director of Bureau Iniala, Iniala Group’s network tailored to making guests feel more connected to the local community while in Malta.

Additionally, she is also a digital curation specialist in arts and media, having worked in the area on a freelance basis for over 20 years.

Among her various qualifications, Ms Balzan holds a post graduate certificate in Digital Curation and Art from the University of Salford, a Master of Arts in Drama, Theatre Arts and Stagecraft from Royal Holloway University of London, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and History of the Mediterranean from University of Malta.

Iniala Harbour House is a hotel made up of four traditional houses in Valletta that have been refurbished with iconic Maltese balconies and terraces, as well as private pools, with the aim of providing guests with the “signature Iniala experience” through “adventurous gastronomy, sought-after art pieces, and state of the art rooms”. Established in 2014, Iniala Group encompasses a number of companies formed to provide “the highest level of quality and luxury across hospitality, development, and philanthropy”.
