Andrew John Gauci has taken on a new leadership position as Quality Services Manager and Qualified Person at Aurobindo Pharma Malta Ltd.
Announcing the move, Mr Gauci described the transition as an important milestone, noting that it allows him to deepen his leadership responsibilities while continuing to carry the regulatory accountability associated with the Qualified Person role.
Looking ahead, Mr Gauci said his priorities will centre on strengthening team structures, ensuring consistency in decision-making, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance across operations.
Mr Gauci holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Technology and a Master’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Malta.
He began his career with Aurobindo Pharma Malta Ltd in 2017 as a Quality Assurance Officer, before moving to Siegfried Holding AG as a Quality Assurance Specialist. He later rejoined Aurobindo in 2021, taking on roles including Senior QA/RA & Compliance Officer and Qualified Person over the past four years.
In addition to his industry role, Mr Gauci also contributes to academia as a lecturer in the B.Sc. Pharmaceutical Technology programme at the University of Malta.
