L’Orangerie Bistro, found on the T’Alla u Ommu hill, has announced that it will be closing down.

Sharing the sad news on its Facebook page, owners Tonio and Christine commented that they will always treasure the evenings spent watching breathtaking sunsets with customers, family and friends, as the glow of the horizon paired with the aperitivi.

“It is with the same sunset that we now close this magical chapter of L’Orangerie,” the pair said.

Tonio and Christine commented that fulfilling the dream of opening the restaurant has been one of the most challenging, rewarding, and unforgettable experiences of their lives.

“Over the past three years, we have been privileged to serve and connect with incredible people, creating memories that will stay with us forever,” they said.

From its signature dish to “cherised wine events that brought joy and camaraderie,” the pair shared that every moment was made special because of the restaurant’s valued guests.

Lastly, they thanked everyone for the support received, their friendship, for memories that will remain etched in their hearts forever. They also sent a heartfelt appreciation to all staff who stood by their side for the past three years.

“As the French say: Adieu et Merci,” Tonio and Christine wrote.

Many customers joined in wishing the pair luck for future endeavours and expressed sadness over the closure while also thanking them for being part of their memories.
