Events company 242.group paid tribute to its former employee Calvin Brincat, who tragically passed away.

The business group remembered Mr Brincat as a “cherished member of our 242 family”.

“Your presence, energy, and spirit left a lasting mark on all of us. You weren’t just part of the team, you were part of our journey, our memories, and our everyday moments,” it said.

“A true Valletta supporter, your passion was always evident and contagious.”

“Thank you for everything you gave, for the laughs, the dedication, and the kindness you showed to everyone around you. You will always be part of the 242 family.”

Mr Brincat, who was only 32 years old, died after battling against pancreatic and liver cancer.

He had taken part in the 2024 edition of the adventure reality show HazZzard, which took place in Mongolia.

Friends and relatives had helped raise almost €40,000 from the public to help support his treatment.
