The Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority (MCCAA) announced the winners of the sixth edition of Premju Servizz bi Tbissima during an award ceremony.
This year, over 1,000 different sellers and companies were nominated in four categories. The top five in each category were closely vetted by the Servizz bi Tbissima (Service with a Smile) Competition Board to first ensure that the votes received were valid and according to the competition’s terms and conditions, and also to ensure that nominated traders abided by the award’s code of conduct in their day-to-day operations.
Voting by the general public took place between 23rd July and the 20th August 2021.
The winners for each category were as follows:
The Electronic Products and Household Goods category was won by Top Choice.

While addressing the award ceremony, Parliamentary Secretary for Consumer Protection and Public Cleansing Deo Debattista explained that through such initiatives sellers and companies who focus their operations on providing their customers with the best possible service stand out amongst their competitors. He also said that year after year, the award has continued to gain more participation from the general public, as is made evident by the increase in votes this year when compared to the previous edition.
During her address, MCCAA Chairperson Helga Pizzuto spoke about the challenges the authority faced during the pandemic and how it focused its energy on assisting both consumers and traders to deal with the unprecedented situation.
