On Monday (today), Zen to Go Express announced that last Friday it closed the doors of its Valletta outlet in Melita street, permanently.

The company informed its customers via email stating that it will also be announcing a new location for Zen to Go Express.

Zen Restaurants Ltd was born in 2006 and has established itself by managing different restaurant brands. This includes Sale e Pepe, Café Portomaso, Marina Terrace, Al Molo and Zen Japanese Sushi Bar and Teppanyaki.

Eventually the Zen Sushi brand expanded and formed Zen to Go and Zen to Go Express.

Zen to Go, which offered take out or dine-in options, can be found in multiple locations across Malta: Pama, Pavi, Skyparks, Ta’ Xbiex, St Julian’s and most recently in Marsaskala.

On the other hand, the Express branch distinguished itself by having readymade meals, based on a grab and go concept. Apart from its former Valletta outlet, Zen to Go Express is still open at Carob Tree, Spinola Park.

“Thank you for supporting the brand regularly,” Zen to Go Express told its customers.
