Zahra Group on Thursday (today) mourned the loss George Vella, who had worked at the building and construction company for more than 30 years.
The group thanked him for his hard work over the years, adding that he was “an inspiration and a friend”, becoming “part of a big family.”
Zahra Group expressed condolences to him and his family and friends, praying for “courage and peace during this time of mourning.”
“With deepest sympathy from Joe, Andre’, Simon, Joseph, and all the staff at Zahra Group. Rest in peace our friend George,” it added.
The comments section was filled with people sending their condolences to Mr Vella’s loved ones, with his children Daniel Vella and Maria Pullicino Vella thanking everyone for their wishes.
His funeral was held on Thursday at Saint Sebastian Parish Church in Qormi at 2.30pm.
