Veronica Zammit Tabone, together with her family, runs a car-rental company – Bjorn Rent A Car – which has today expanded to offer car-washing and taxi services.

Her journey in car rentals began with two Escort Mk1s and the age of 19. The company was then set up by Ms Zammit Tabone’s husband, a mechanic by profession.

“Along the way I had two children but still found time to invest in the business.

“Indeed, it was mainly thanks to the dedication and commitment of my husband and myself that the company has grown to what it is today, having 80 vehicles and five employees, including my daughter and her husband.”
