Through a career developed early on in the field of management and executive roles, both in the private and public sectors, Silvio Scerri currently occupies the post of Chief Executive Officer for ARMS Limited.

He was appointed to the role in November 2018 where he brought his life-long experience of business and people-skills together to bring about significant change within the company, both internally through adapting culture and externally through dealing with clients.

Mr Scerri has, for a number of years, occupied the positions of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of leading companies in Malta and abroad. Amongst the most notable achievements, one finds a significant involvement and contribution to the national events in connection with Malta’s EU Accession in 2003, the CHOGM in 2005 and 2015 and the Euro Currency Changeover in 2008.

In the public sector, he served in the private staff of several Cabinet Ministers, including as Chief of Staff to the Minister for Home Affairs and National Security between 2013 and 2014.

From 2015 to 2017 he occupied the post of Consultant in Project Management and Implementation for the Ministry of Gozo, mainly overseeing the successful completion of the EU-funded major project of the restoration of the Cittadella, a project that was shortlisted by the European Commission for the Regiostars award in 2017.

Other responsibilities include ongoing service as Commissioner for Petitions.
