Having a background in the technology sector, today Nick Tonna occupies the role of Chief Commercial Officer at BMIT Technologies plc.

He joined BMIT in 2012 from Microsoft Malta where he led the Enterprise & Partner Group segment and was responsible for managing and developing the relationships with Microsoft’s enterprise customers in Malta.

"Half of my 18 years’ experience in the ICT sector were in a commercial-leadership role, with exposure to a broad spectrum of ICT services, including data centre services, infrastructure and software solutions, cloud and managed services," he remarked.

"Having worked on various high-profile projects within the public sector, financial services and online gaming industries, I was, on multiple occasions, commended for my professional accomplishments."

Among other achievements, Mr Tonna secured the first large-scale deployments of Cloud-based services and played a key role in the 2011 five-year strategic partnership agreement with the Government of Malta.

He also won the Worldwide Circle of Excellence Award for his performance.
