Having 20 years' international engineering experience on multi-million-dollar projects in the semiconductor industry, Mr Cachia served as a customer support consultant with a major ATE player for 13 years. He was also involved in large scale photovoltaic system design, having participated in the design and review of the largest solar park in Europe. Mr Cachia worked as a business development leader for SunPower Corporation and a researcher for WCANET Cost Action programme, a pan-European network for marine renewable energy with a focus on wave energy.
