Leslie Dean Rojas was living and working in Dubai as an Accounts Coordinator when she was first contacted by M Recruitment. She joined the agency in August 2019 upon arriving in Malta. When she started, the company was quite small, having about 30 subcontracted employees, and her responsibilities consisted of both accounts and payroll.

After an absence of work due to pregnancy, Ms Rojas returned to find a larger workforce and increasingly demanding responsibilities. There were also new staff members, which meant the potentiality of introducing more roles.

“There had been clearly a big shift within the company and, after a few discussions, my role was changed completely. I was tasked with the responsibility of managing the Work Permit Application process for all our foreign applicants. With the company size constantly increasing (currently at 180 subcontracted employees), I was provided with the help of an executive,” she says.

One year later and the company now boats a strong, efficient team and the work permit and visa application process is now being offered to corporate organisations under ‘Permit Hub’.
