Karl Aquilina joined Salvo Grima Group Ltd back in 2003, occupying several roles within the company, including Chief Operations Officer, before being appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2014.

The family-owned company celebrated its 160th anniversary last year, which saw Mr Aquilina initiate a process of geographic diversification, innovation and expansion. 

He was instrumental in extending the Group’s operations to Palma de Mallorca, the Netherlands, Cyprus and Tunisia and also in strengthening its superyacht industry services, among other projects he has been involved in.

Over the past 161 years, Salvo Grima Group has grown to offer comprehensive and flexible solutions of all kinds, including ship supply, yacht provisioning, wholesale, travel retail and distribution services.
