At MaltaPost, Charles Cilia is responsible for developing new products and services, refining the services on offer to meet the customers’ needs and identifying key business opportunities. He also manages the Document Management and Back-Offices Services.
“E-commerce logistics activity has increased considerably, with both consumers and businesses leveraging on a global market and, with my expertise in the e-commerce industry, I ensure the company is the market leader in innovative solutions,” Mr Cilia says.
Recently, he was also entrusted with customer care and sales, where he uses his experience in the sector to serve clients' needs.
MaltaPost plc, which was registered in April 1998, is Malta's leading postal services company, being the sole licensed Universal Service Provider of postal service. The market was fully liberalised at the beginning of 2013, enabling other entities to provide postal services within the scope of the universal service.
One of the country's largest private employers, it is regulated by the Malta Communications Authority and is listed on the Malta Stock Exchange.
The company developed a state-of-the-art document management centre in Xewkija, which is equipped to scan, archive and index information of both electronic and physical formats.
