In a distinguished career in the Swedish Air Force, at the rank of colonel, Bjorn J. Ekstedt was the Armed Forces Chief Controller and Head of Strategic Management before he pursued a career in IT in 2007.

“I first served as Vice President of IT in roles such as Director of Enterprise Architecture, Director of IT Operations and Business Group CIO. I, thereafter, occupied several Group CIO positions in large market leading and global corporations, in high tech industrial manufacturing, logistics and insurance, also being a member of the executive team,” he explains.

Before joining BOV, Col. Ekstedt was an executive advisor for large corporations and IT suppliers in the Nordics.

He hold an MBA from Warwick Business School, UK and an MSc from Linkoping Institute of Technology, Sweden.
