VSQUARED has been nominated for EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award Malta 2021, a global program that recognises entrepreneurial achievement among individuals and companies “that demonstrate vision, leadership and success”.

Taking to social media, co-founder Martina Zammit described receiving the nomination together with business partner Rachel Cachia as an “an honour”, adding that:

“We hope our business story serves as an inspiration to others – ours has been an amazing rollercoaster ride characterized by the hunger to never stop challenging ourselves and our teams, and fueled by the willingness to embrace change.”

VSQUARED provides a full production service, from initial concept to completion, including research, screenwriting and pre-production; all the way through the shoot itself including casting, post-production crew and facilities, Full HD and 4K ready edit suites, experienced video editors, graphic designers, digital media management, duplication and delivery.

The company also has a large database of actors, models, VO and various other talent who have been scouted throughout the years and worked with on numerous projects, such as TV series, documentaries and commercials.

Recognizing Malta's best and brightest

The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ program was established more than 30 years ago and today operates in more than 60 countries and 145 cities around the world.

By participating in the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program, “entrepreneurs can connect with their peers, access relevant insights to help navigate their growth journey and raise the profile of their companies and teams. Each program culminates in the announcement of an overall winner who then competes for the prestigious EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year™ Award.”

The Malta award is entering its fourth year, and promotes entrepreneurship across the Maltese islands and empowers entrepreneurs to grow their businesses both locally and globally.

Depending on the situation with COVID-19, the winner is expected to head to Monaco in June to compete for the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year Award, an event that brings together national winners from more than 60 countries. This event may be held virtually in 2021.
