Lara Caruana has been instated as Company Director, shareholder and Chief Commercial Officer at VSQUARED & Gadgets.

Co-Founders Rachel Cachia and Martina Zammit made the announcement of her new role at the Group, describing this as “a development that forms part of the organisation’s growth strategy and above all its commitment to service quality.”

As a result, VSQUARED’s and Gadgets’ shareholders are now Ms Cachia and Ms Zammit, who are the main shareholders, as well as Director of Photography Justin Camilleri and Ms Caruana.

Ms Caruana joined the organisation in 2013, and after starting out on Gadgets’ production team, she later went on to serve as Production Manager.

Afterwards she was appointed Chief Operations Officer at VSQUARED, being tasked with “leading the company’s growth strategy to be the market leader in video and digital marketing.”

“My journey with the company has been inspirational and motivating, to say the least,” Ms Caruana said on the development.

“Over the years, Martina, Rachel and Justin have instilled in me a love and passion for the industry, the work we do and the way we go about it,” then adding that she’s “extremely grateful” for her growth within the company and looks forward to an “exciting future” within the organisation.

She said: “Over the last couple of years, the digital transformation had to happen faster than ever due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and marketers increasingly adapted to changing virtual and hybrid business landscapes.”

Ms Caruana concluded by saying that “As Chief Commercial Officer, I will strive to help clients reach new heights with their brands, along with our talented teams.”

Speaking on the announcement, VSQUARED CEO Ms Cachia said that this is “another major milestone” for the group, adding that “We believe in people – just as we brought in Justin, our Director of Photography, as shareholder three years ago, Lara is being recognised for the strong sense of dedication and passion demonstrated towards both VSQUARED and Gadgets since she joined nine years ago.”

“We’re confident that she will fulfil her new role successfully with the support of Gadgets’ and VSQUARED’s brilliant teams,” Ms Cachia added.

VSQUARED is a digital creative studio that “provides full video production services, digital and video marketing”, while Gadgets “aims to inspire others by popularising the fascinating world of technology” through their reach on different media, including television and social media.
