Varun Erangikkal has recently been appointed as restaurant manager at Hotel Ta’ Ċenċ & Spa, a 74 room five-star hotel in Sannat, Gozo.

He made the announcement on his LinkedIn profile, with many people congratulating him on his new role.

Varun is the true definition of working your way to the top. He started his career with 15 years of experience back in 2005 by working as a waiter.

Three years later, he went to Dubai where he worked as a bar captain and bar supervisor. Later, at Bab Al Qasr in Abu Dhabi, he was awarded Supervisor of the month, and got promoted within a year as Assistant Restaurant Manager.

Additionally, he has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Calicut in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation.
