Green Skip Services Ltd was set up by Mary Gaerty and her sister in October 1992.

Being accepted as a Full (Chartered) Member of the Chartered Institute of Waste Management and being a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor has given Ms Gaerty further insights into the waste management sector.

Having served for several years as a Member of various environmental committees, Ms Gaerty's aim "was always to highlight the actions essential for a successful waste management strategy in Malta," she shares with WhosWho.mt.

"As the immediate past President of the National Council of Women, gender equality and the education and advancement of women are close to my heart."

Ms Gaerty is a family woman, married to Ronald Gaerty, and they share four children.
