Glenn Debattista has been named Chief Operating Officer at Tallinn-based digital marketing agency Revpanda, leaving his position as Head of Product at Web International Services Ltd (WIS).

“I’m excited to announce that from this coming Monday I will be starting a new chapter in my professional career,” he wrote on social media.

Mr Debattista continued by saying that he’s “thrilled about this new opportunity” and he is looking forward to helping “Revpanda grow further in the coming months”.

This new position means that his time at WIS has come to an end after more than two years, during which he served as Product Manager of Sportsbook, Lead Product Manager and finally as Head of Product.

He thanked WIS for the “support and personal growth” he got at the company.

Revpanda CEO and Co-Founder Emre Goktas expressed his delight at having Mr Debattista join the company, adding that he “brings 17 years of progressive experience in the industry and will be leading the operations within Revpanda”.

“Stay tuned, we are going to make a lot of noise together,” Mr Goktas continued.

Prior to his time at WIS, Mr Debattista spent more than 10 years at Liverpool-headquartered Stanleybet Group at its offices in Malta, where after almost three years as a Trader, he also served as a Risk Manager and Team Leader, along with Trading Manager of Retail and Online Business.

He was also Junior Risk Manager and Trader, as well as Risk Manager and Team Leader at mybet.com for upwards of four years.

His extensive experience also includes sports journalism and music journalism for various international websites and publications, including Goal.com, Dive.com and Manic Magazine.

In 2017, Mr Debattista created iGaming Professionals in Malta (IGPiM), a Facebook group with more than 4,000 members that allows iGaming professionals working and living in Malta to network with each other more effectively.

Revpanda is a digital marketing agency that seeks to help businesses expose themselves to “targeted global audiences through search engine optimisation, multilingual content writing and translation services, optimised web development,” and numerous other services.

While the company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, it has physical offices in Riga, Latvia and Izmir, Turkey.
