Euromoney Media Legal Group have announced the Rising Stars Awards Europe winners for 2020 who are under the age of 40, with Ganado Advocates’ Matthew Xerri announced as the jurisdictional winner for Malta.

Dr Xerri joined the leading local law firm in 2011, and focuses mainly on aviation and ship finance transactions, including structures for alternative sources of funding.

A total of 148 rising star lawyers were named in the Rising Stars Awards, hailing from 25 different practice areas and 33 jurisdictions.

As part of its methodology, the Rising Stars Awards research team conducted a series of interviews with practitioners across multiple areas of law and jurisdictions advising of the accomplishments of key practitioners.
