Popular radio show The Morning Vibe on Vibe FM will come to an end on Friday after a 10-year run.

The news was first hinted at by its hosts Jonathan Abel, JD Patrick and Martina Zammit on social media on Monday by sharing the Looney Tunes end card stating “That’s All Folks!”

The decision was then confirmed on Tuesday (today) morning during the show.

Taking to social media following the announcement, the trio all looked back on the show’s decade-long journey, saying that Friday will be one of their “most heartbreaking days.”

“I’ll never forget Jon’s ambitious idea: ‘Let’s do 10 years of the breakfast show together.’ I was in disbelief, but here we are, and I couldn’t be prouder,” Ms Zammit said.

“Yes, it’s tough to close this chapter but I’ll close it with a full heart,” she continued.

Additionally, the radio hosts also remarked that the final show’s date on Friday coincides with the birthday of their late mentor Terry Farrugia, on what would have been his 54th birthday.

“Every teardrop is a waterfall,” the three radio hosts concluded.
