I joined Studio7, the company founded by my father Jo Debono, in 1995, observing what others did and learning how I could be of use to them by assisting in whatever they did. At the same time I started an online Human Resources Management Diploma to help me with the day to day exposure within the team. Along the journey i joined the technical team to be able to understand how audio visual equipment functioned, assiting with setting up and operating equipment during events. Getting my hands dirty was the only way I knew how to learn and improve on processes I determined needed attention. Any administrative task required, I learned, allowing me to step into any department that needed to have a position filled. Eventually, I settled in the Conference & Events department and grew within this unit, which was and still is our largest unit. Once my parents started planning their retirement and family succession plans started being discussed, a process to decide who will be taking over kicked off, leading me to to occupy a management role which evolved into being appointed Managing Director. In this role, I have spearheaded the company’s efforts to change and adapt to the challenges encountered along the years.

My experience varies from project management, financial and media production to logistics and operations. In fact, for a fond client of mine, my name is Suelutions.

I also serve as Treasurer of the Congress Rental Network.
