Business Profile

I am the founder of Shoulder Compliance and a consultant within the Maltese anti-financial crime and regulatory compliance spheres. I bring broad anti-financial crime insight and expertise developed over many years in both external and in-house legal counsel and compliance roles.

My previous experience includes leading the compliance function of a European Systemically Important Institution, heading the compliance and legal departments of a fintech bank, and many years working as a commercial lawyer acting as external counsel on a wide range of transactions.

My approach to anti-financial crime and compliance consultancy combines strong knowledge of the relevant rulebooks with a solid understanding of operational and technical realities across several industries.

Outside of Shoulder Compliance, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing the electric bass, reading a good book, and getting stuck into long-winded arguments about pretty much anything.
