Philip Mifsud, Ganado Advocate’s Senior Associate within its corporate department, has been appointed to the International Trademark Association (INTA)’s Anticounterfeiting Committee for the 2024-2025 term.
On Monday, Dr Mifsud announced his appointment on LinkedIn and stated that he is looking forward to work and collaborate with other committee members.
Dr Mifsud regularly assists clients in corporate matters by providing advice on corporate governance matters and assisting with corporate financing, M&A transactions, voluntary dissolutions and various other corporate transactional projects. He is also involved in the field of intellectual property (IP) and technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) practices.
The Anticounterfeiting Committee is devoted to global enforcement of anticounterfeiting procedures. The committee assesses treaties, laws and regulations concerning counterfeiting and its enforcement. It also formulates and supports robust policies for safeguarding against infringement while advancing efforts to educate on enforcement.
