MedservRegis plc, an integrated logistics specialist serving the energy and mining sectors, has successfully raised €22.132 million through a local bond issuance. Originally planned for €25 million in both euro and US dollar denominations, the new bonds are intended partly to replace those maturing in February 2026.

The offering prioritised existing holders of the 2015 bonds.

85 existing bondholders subscribed for €13.185 million and $5.735 million respectively. The remaining amount was raised through an Intermediaries’ Offer, bringing in €3.855 million and $165,000. Together, this totalled €22.132 million.

The new bonds are expected to be listed on the Malta Stock Exchange on 3rd December 2025, with accrued interest from that date. Trading will officially commence on 4th December. Trading of the 2015 bonds had been suspended to facilitate the exchange process and will resume after close of business on 3rd December.

MedservRegis confirmed that any bonds not exchanged for the new issuance will be redeemed by 5th February 2026, unless previously bought back under the company’s buy-back program.

“The company welcomes the support of both existing and new investors and believes the combination of reduced long-term debt and strong cash-flow generation will reinforce its capital structure and support its growth strategy,” a company statement concluded.

After years of weak financial performance and no dividends distributed between 2016 and 2023, MedservRegis has made a significant turnaround. The group returned to profitability in 2023, further increasing profits in 2024 and the first half of 2025.

Notably, while the bonds maturing in 2026 total €30 million, the new issuance was set at €25 million, reflecting Medserv’s effort to reduce its borrowing as its financial health and cash flow strengthen.
