Nicky Debono has been promoted to Financial Controller at Malta-based food and beverage importer Attard & Co Food Ltd, he shared on Tuesday.
Mr Debono first joined Attard & Co Group as a Cashier in 1998, and he gradually started to develop his skills until he then delved into different aspects of accountancy. Prior to his new role, he served as Finance Manager at the company, where he was primarily tasked with maintaining a documented system of accounting procedures and overseeing the operations of the cash department, among other responsibilities.
He is a qualified accountant having finalised his Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) studies in 2015, and is also a Member of the Malta Institute of Accountants and an ACCA Member.
Established in 1976, Attard & Co Food Ltd has grown to become an established importer of food, beverages and confectionery products, with the aim to “ensure the satisfaction of its customers through the efficient distribution of its quality products”. It forms part of Attard & Co Group which was founded back in 1921.
