The new premises were opened by Tourism Minister Julia Farrugia Portelli who congratulated the company for its continued investment in the industry.

Britannia Services Ltd has branches in various localities in Malta and Gozo. It also has a presence in Slovenia, establishing itself as an incoming travel operator, attracting tourists to Malta, Managing Director Noel Farrugia said.

He announced that Britannia Services Ltd and Atlas Insurance PCC Ltd have struck a partnership enabling the tour operator to also offer insurance services.

Britannia Services Ltd started 38 years ago, organising tours to Sicily on board the MV Għawdex. Today, it offers group tours and personal travel across the globe.

Ħamrun mayor Christian Sammut was present for the opening of the new offices, which were blessed by St Gaetan Parish Archpriest, Fr Walter Cauchi.
