Medsky Airways has registered its second aircraft in Malta, marking a key milestone in the airline’s growth strategy as it celebrated its third anniversary of operations between Malta and Libya.

The announcement was made during an event marking three years since the resumption of direct flights between the two countries in 2022, following an eight-year suspension.

The newly registered aircraft further consolidates Malta as the airline’s operational base, with Executive Chairman Abubakeer Elfortia confirming that the company has already paid for two brand-new Airbus A321neo aircraft. One will enter service before the end of this year, while the second is scheduled to arrive at the beginning of next year, he said.

Medsky also revealed new direct routes from Tripoli and Benghazi to Athens, Greece, and to Spain.
