Mediterranean Maritime Hub have announced the resignation of their CEO Joseph Mario Maggi, who will be replaced on an interim basis by current deputy chairperson Angelique Maggi.

In a statement released on the Malta Stock Exchange on Monday, Mediterranean Maritime Hub (MMH) said the resignation will take effect from 1st February 2021.

“Ing. Maggi will however remain a consultant to the Group for the foreseeable future,” MMH said.

“The MMH Group thanks Ing. Maggi for his invaluable and tireless work with the Group over the last years and wishes him the best of luck with his future endeavours.”

Mr Maggi had occupied the role since April 2018, following two years as Chief Operations Officer.

Replacing him will be Angelique Maggi, who has occupied the role of deputy chairperson with the company since 2014, overseeing the rehabilitation of the Malta Shipbuilding site into the Mediterranean Maritime Hub and the subsequent rebranding of the Group.

MMH Malta Ltd specialises in the specific requirements of the oil and gas and marine sectors, providing a wide range of services including rig agency and rig stop services, planning, project recruitment, the contracting of pre-screened and pre-qualified personnel, training, logistics,facilities provision, supply chain services and project management.
