Maypole Ltd has once again won the Supermarkets and Mini Markets category of the Premju Servizz bi Tbissima (Service with a Smile Award), organised by the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority (MCCAA).

After winning first place in 2021, 2022, and 2024, this marks the fourth time that Maypole has received this award. The consistent recognition reflects Maypole’s ongoing commitment to offering customers the best experience across all its 32 retail outlets, located all over the Maltese islands, and open daily all year round.

Fully aware of its responsibility towards its loyal clients, Maypole established Better Call Maypole to ensure immediate and personal assistance with orders, product queries or complaints. Experienced employees fluent in both Maltese and English are available seven days a week, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., 365 days a year, answering all calls directly without the need to navigate through automated menus. They operate under strict customer service standards, guaranteeing feedback within 24 hours, and addressing each case individually.

A recent initiative saw Maypole collaborate with the University of Malta to offer a Maltese language course to their employees who are not native-Maltese speakers. This improves their communication and integration in the community and allows customers to use Maltese during their shopping experience.
