AX Hotels has announced the promotion of Mark Zammit to Operations Manager at AX Hotels Sliema, marking a career milestone after nearly 18 years with the company.
Mr Zammit joined AX Hotels in 2007 as a Head Waiter. In 2018, he advanced to F&B Service Manager, a role he has held for the past seven years.
Reflecting on his career path, Mr Zammit highlighted the company’s dynamic environment and the opportunities for personal and professional development. He noted that the combination of team support, industry passion, and guest satisfaction has been central to his motivation.
"The learning opportunities and ability to grow within the company have been key highlights of my career," he said.
Mr Zammit added that "seeing repeat guests year after year is always a special moment – it’s something that brings joy to both our guests and myself."
As Operations Manager, he will oversee daily operations at AX Hotels Sliema, continuing to contribute to the guest experience and business performance.
